Padmini Narumanchi (Co-Producer)

Padmini Narumanchi is a Brooklyn-based Film Producer and Media Educator. She earned a BA in Film Studies from UC Berkeley, then received her MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California, where she was a Courtney & Steven J. Ross Fellow. Committed to working with underserved youth, she has taught Media Literacy and Video in public high schools. She recently directed her first short, “Savage Sisters,” and was a semi-finalist for the Chesterfield Writer’s Fellowship for her screenplay, “The Awakening.” Currently, she is focusing on producing narrative features, which include “Plato’s Reality Machine” and now “Hank and Asha.”
